What is JIS A5525?

Product Classes of JIS A5525

Manufacturing Process of JIS A5525
- Blank pipes are produced by:
- Spiral seam arc welding (HSAW)
- Straight seam arc welding (LSAW)
- Electric resistance welding (ERW)
- Circumferential welding → the joints between blank pipes must be staggered by at least 1/8 of the pipe circumference to ensure uniform joint strength.- Jointed pipes → may consist of blank pipes of different types or wall thicknesses, joined with circumferential welding in the workshop.
Applications of Pipe Piles Based on JIS A5525
- Bridges and flyovers → supporting structures with high dynamic loads.
- Piers and harbors → used in soft soil or seabed for extra stability.
- High-rise buildings → ensuring strong foundations in urban areas with large vertical loads.
- Landslide prevention projects → installed as slope reinforcements to resist soil movement.
