PT Bakrie Pipe Industries (PT BPI) has demonstrated its commitment to maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability by donating 1 garbage cart, 10 trash bins, and 1 steel pipe with a diameter of 16 inches and a length of 6 meters to the residents of RT 005 RW 002, Pejuang Subdistrict, Medan Satria District, Bekasi. This donation aims to raise public awareness about maintaining environmental cleanliness, encourage the habit of disposing of waste properly, and improve the flow of water drainage (gutters) around residential areas.
This program is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative under the umbrella of BPI Peduli. Through this program, PT BPI strives to provide tangible benefits to communities living near the company’s operational area. The donation was directly received by the Head of RW 02, Mr. Ihsan, together with the Head of RT 05, Mr. Wahyu. Both expressed their appreciation and gratitude to PT BPI for the support provided. “On behalf of the residents, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to PT BPI for the donation of the garbage cart, trash bins, and pipe. This assistance is very useful in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health so that residents do not dispose of waste carelessly,” said Ihsan.
