PT Bakrie Pipe Industries (BPI) once again carried out its regular Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) program, which is part of the BPI Peduli Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. On October 3, 2025, BPI distributed 100 meal boxes to underprivileged communities in the Bekasi area.
The distribution was conducted by the field team, targeting beneficiaries including the National Orphanage in Kranji, street vendors, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and the underprivileged in the Harapan Indah to Bungur areas of Medan Satria, Bekasi.
Pingkan, Field Coordinator of Jumat Berkah from the HR department, stated that this activity is a tangible expression of the company’s care for the surrounding community. “We hope that this program not only provides benefits for the community but also brings blessings to the company and all employees. This is in line with the philosophy of Bakrie’s founder, Mr. H. Achmad Bakrie, that every rupiah earned must provide the greatest benefit to society,” she said.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Darma, also expressed his appreciation. “The Jumat Berkah program from BPI is very helpful and beneficial for us. I hope PT BPI continues to be successful and prosperous,” he said.
